MACROSILLONS is a sonic and *wandering (vagabonding, moveable*) sculpture.
It makes its way from place to place and we plant it in public spaces and culturally influential zones where we try to focus on the significance of being together while contemplating an artistic object.
MACROSILLONS is the resonant product of this endeavour: a hybrid, something between Homer’s well-made oar (“…you must take a well-made oar and carry it on and on, till you come to a country where the people have never heard of the sea and do not even mix salt with their food, nor do they know anything about ships, and oars that are as the wings of a ship…”The Odyssey 11.2), the ghetto blaster and the secret, underground *formula (method, concept)* used by Radio London.
MACROSILLONS est une sculpture sonore et pérégrine.
Elle chemine de site en site et nous la plantons dans l’espace public et les zones d’influence culturelle où nous tentons de saisir ce que peut signifier être ensemble autour d’un objet artistique.
MACROSILLONS est le produit sonore de cette tentative : un objet hybride, entre la bonne rame d’Homère (« …il faudra repartir avec ta bonne rame à l’épaule et marcher tant et tant qu’à la fin tu rencontres des gens qui ignorent la mer et, ne mêlant jamais de sel aux mets qu’ils mangent ignorent les vaisseaux…»), le ghetto-blaster et la formule clandestine de Radio Londres.
